With this ECCOMAS Thematic Conference it is intended to bring together academic and scientific communities that are involved with Algebraic and Symbolic Computation in the most various scientific areas.

Exchanging experiences, ideas or guidelines about current and  emerging research and development areas, is a first major goal. Also due to the multidisciplinary character of this Conference it constitutes itself as a privileged  forum to establish new multidisciplinary collaboration areas.

So if you work in the area of algebraic and symbolic computation research or if you use these powerful tools  (Mathematica, Maple, Maxima, Matlab, or other software applications with such capabilities) in the context of other areas research, we welcome your participation in SYMCOMP 2013.
